Year 3 Archive 2018
This week the children had fun exploring shadows. We made shadow puppets of lions for our Lion Tamers to use in our Perfromance.

What an amazing week we’ve just had. Year 3 are busy starting to put together our dream island. We can’t wait to show you guys when it’s done!
On Friday we had another great parent morning, thank you to everyone who was able to come and support us. During our Maths lesson Miss Topham joined us to show us some amazing active maths activities we can’t wait to using. Then in the afternoon we were visited by an actual pilot. He showed us photos from across the world of places he has visited and answered loads of questions. All the children found it highly interesting and learnt a lot about flight times to different countries.

Hi guys, what a great visit we had this week to our local Harvester. We learnt all about the healthy food they serve on their salad bar and were even able to help ourselves to a bowl for our lunch. Thank you to all the staff at Harvester for making our trip so much fun and I know Y3HC can’t wait to go next week.

What an amazing Science week we have had this year. It all began on Monday when we went to Clubby fields to take part in a litter pick, we found so much we had to get Mr James to fetch his pick up to help us get it back to school. For the rest of the week we learnt all about the damage and harm plastic is causing to our oceans and planet as a whole. The children found this really interesting and they were highly motivated all week. Thank you to Mrs Cooper for organising such a great week.
