WORKING FOR OUR CHILDREN

Our Clubs

Cookery Club

Our Year 6 children have been thoroughly enjoying cookery club after school. They have learnt different cutting and slicing techniques as well as learning about food and hygiene. So far they have cooked a stir fry, tomato pasta and curry.

Gymnastics Club

Year 3 children have been partaking in an afterschool gymnastics club.

Snooker Club

Mr Shaw has been coaching some of our older pupils in the sport of snooker.

Craft Club

Some children enjoyed the opportunity to attend an arts and crafts after school club where they were able to practice their clay skills.

Breakfast Club

Here at Spire Juniors we offer a breakfast club for our children where they are able to attend school from 7.45 a.m. They can enjoy some cereal, toast or bagels with juice all whilst recieving help with their homework, if needed.

TTR Club

Some of our Year 3/4 children have enjoyed attending an afternoon school times table club where they play games and compete on Times Table Rockstars with the aim to improve times table recall and fluency. Some of these children are now so quick they have been known to beat some of our teachers.
